Chukwuma will line up against reigning World Champion Sha’carri Richardson and multiple Olympic Gold medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

The semi-final also features Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia, Gina Bass Bittaye from Gambia, Great Britain’s Imani Lansiquot, Australia’s Bree Masters, Luxembourg’s Patrizia Van de Weken, and Puerto Rico’s Gladymar Torres. Each athlete brings unique strengths, setting the stage for a fiercely competitive race.

Chukwuma’s journey to the semi-finals has been marked by determination and skill. She secured her spot by finishing third in Heat 5, clocking in at 11.26 seconds, trailing only Poland’s Ewa Swoboda and Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith. Despite the challenging competition, Chukwuma remains optimistic and focused.

“This is what we train for,” Rosemary Chukwuma said after her qualifying race. “Competing against the best in the world pushes you to be your best. I’m ready to give it everything.”

Sha’carri Richardson, representing the United States, enters the semi-final as a formidable opponent. Her explosive speed and recent World Championship title make her a top contender for the gold. Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, known for her consistency and exceptional track record, adds another layer of challenge. With multiple Olympic golds to her name, Fraser-Pryce is always a threat in the 100m dash.

As the athletes prepare to take their marks, anticipation builds. The semi-final is not just a race; it’s a test of resilience, speed, and mental fortitude. Each runner has her eyes on the final, but the journey there is fraught with formidable adversaries and split-second decisions.

For Chukwuma and her fellow competitors, the race represents a culmination of years of training, sacrifice, and dreams. As the crowd at the Stade de France roars in support, these athletes are poised to deliver a performance that will be remembered long after the games conclude.
