Nigeria's Para Athlete storms Paris for World Para-Athletics Championships

Nigeria's Ability Udoh, one of the athletes and part of Team Nigeria contingent to the 2023 World Para-athletics championship, France has set a target for the competition.

Ability Udoh secured her qualification for the world championship early this year when she won two gold and two silver medals at the preliminary tournament in Morocco.

She will be competing under the T46 category in 100m, 200m, 400m and in long jump. 

Ability won gold medals in both 100m and 200m. She also won silver medals in 400m and in long jump where she set her personal best record with a leap of 4.85 metres. 

The Akwa Ibom star para-athlete, a medal hopeful for Nigeria said she was aiming to improve her international career records and achievements. 

The world Para-athletics championship is scheduled from 8 to 18 July, 2023.
