Nigeria's hurdle sensation, Tobi Amusan heads to semi finals

The rave of the moment, Tobi Amusan has returned big to the sprint as she ran a time of 12.48 seconds to emerge first in Heat 5 of the women’s 100 m hurdles at the ongoing World Athletics Championship in Budapest on Tuesday.
Amusan qualified for the semi-finals of the race with a time of 12.48 seconds, which is the third fastest in all the five Heats, she however failed to peak her record, which still stands as 12.12 seconds.
The fastest time was returned by America’s Kendra Harrison in Heat 3. She returned at 12.24 seconds. Harrison was followed by Bahama’s Devynne Charlton who returned after 12.44 seconds.
