Tobi Amusan, the phenomenal world record holder in the women's 100m hurdles, is eagerly preparing to unleash her extraordinary speed and agility at two highly anticipated events in Ostrava, Czech Republic, and Lausanne, Switzerland, in the forthcoming days.

After dazzling the audience with a glimpse of her record-breaking abilities at the recent meet in Jamaica, where she triumphed with a remarkable time of 12.57s (Season Best), Amusan will be among the esteemed stars gracing the prestigious Golden Spikes Meet in Ostrava on Tuesday, 27th June.

The Golden Spikes Meet, a distinguished World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting, stands as a pinnacle of track and field excellence, attracting the crème de la crème of athletes from around the globe.

With the women's 100m hurdles event boasting an exceptionally strong field, Amusan fearlessly embraces the challenge, aiming to surpass her own Season Best time and claim victory against illustrious competitors such as the Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, former world champion Nia Ali, and the electrifying US sensation Tia Jones.

In addition to the Golden Spikes Meet, the indefatigable Amusan will grace the highly acclaimed Lausanne Diamond League on Friday, 30th June, marking her eagerly anticipated debut in the Diamond League for the current season.

As the epitome of top-tier track and field competition worldwide, the Diamond League serves as the ultimate stage for athletes to showcase their unparalleled skills and compete against the best in the sport.

The Lausanne meet, renowned for its grandeur and prestige, promises to be a scintillating affair as Amusan seeks to maintain her stellar form, secure another triumph, and further solidify her already illustrious athletic portfolio.

Amid the mounting excitement surrounding her scheduled appearances at these momentous events, Amusan took to her official Facebook page on Monday to express her unwavering trust in God and confirm her participation, stating, "In God I trust! I will be competing at the Golden Spikes Meet in Ostrava tomorrow, Jun 27th, and Lausanne Diamond League on Friday."

Ever since her awe-inspiring performance at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, where she triumphed with a wind-assisted time of 12.06 seconds, Amusan has been capturing global attention wherever she competes.

Additionally, she astounded the world by setting a new world record of 12.12 seconds during the semifinals of that very event.

Proudly serving as the trailblazer for Nigerian athletics, Amusan stands tall as the first Nigerian athlete to clinch a world championship gold medal in track and field, while also holding the current African, Commonwealth, and world records in the women's 100m hurdles.

With her indomitable spirit and unrivaled talent, the world eagerly awaits Amusan's performances, as she continues to inspire and redefine the boundaries of athletic achievement.
