Nigeria Handball Premier league to hold In Benin City

The Nigeria Handball Premier league will hold later this month in Benin City, Edo State, the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) have announced.

According to the a statement signed by the Secretary General of HFN  Almu Umar Lambu, the premier league will hold from June 30 to July 12.

22 teams (12 male teams and 10 female teams) are expected to participate in the league, including the teams promoted from the National Division One League of 2022.

The games will be played at the indoor sports hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and the indoor sports hall of the Etete Sports Complex in Benin City, Edo State.

The Secretary General of HFN Lambu noted that all transfer/loan of players should be concluded on or before June 25.

He also urged the team officials to make haste in concluding the registration process ahead of the commencement of the league matches.
