The Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC), on Monday, stated that Team Nigeria would be represented by no fewer than 358 athletes in the 13th African Games.
According to the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NOC, Tony Nezianya, Nigeria will be competing in 25 sports.
"The Games are scheduled to run from March 8 to March in multiple cities - Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast.
"Nigeria is competing in 25 sports disciplines at the event.
"Nigerian athletes were accredited at the Delegation Registration Meeting conducted on March 4, 2024," he said.
According to the breakdown, Team Taekwondo, Wrestling, and Karate have the highest number of individual sports athletes, each having 14, while Arm Wrestling has 15 athletes.
Weightlifting and Badminton both have 12-member teams, while Boxing has 11 pugilists, judo with 10, and Scrabble has eight members.
