Katarina Johnson-Thompson finished second in the heptathlon

At the HypoMeeting, American Anna Hall won the gold medal, with Katarina Johnson-Thompson of Great Britain placing second on her comeback to the heptathlon.
Hall, 22, finished the 800 metres in two minutes, 2.97 seconds, a lifetime best, giving him 6,988 points, the fifth-highest score in history.
Johnson-Thompson was taking part in her first heptathlon since taking home the gold at the Commonwealth Games in August.
She scored 6,556 points in the end.
Hall, who won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships, also set personal records in the high jump, 200 metres, and long jump in Gotzis, Austria.
Johnson-Thompson, a former world champion who has had a history of injuries, had a personal best throw of 13.92 metres in the shot put.
