15 days before the London Marathon, Mo Farah placed sixth in the Port-Gentil 10km in Gabon in 30 minutes and 41 seconds.
For the marathon on April 23, 40-year-old four-time Olympic champion Farah has been training in Ethiopia.
He stated in January that he anticipated 2023 being his final racing season before retiring.
Vincent Kipkemoi of Kenya won in 28 minutes and 11 seconds in Gabon.
Due to a hip ailment, Farah missed the London Marathon in 2022, and this year's race will be his first complete marathon since 2019.
The British runner, who is anticipated to be competing in his farewell London Marathon, will face up against four of the five fastest marathoners in history, including Kenenisa Bekele of Kenya.
