Fraser-Pryce wins 100m sprint after knee injury, followed by Hobbs and Blackmon

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the three-time Olympic champion, showed her dominance in the 100m sprint as she powered to victory at the Spitzen Leichtathletik event in Luzern, Switzerland, in her first race of the 2023 season.
Despite recovering from a knee injury, the 36-year-old Jamaican sprinter clocked an impressive time of 10.82 seconds. Zoe Hobbs from New Zealand secured the second position, while Kennedy Blackmon from the United States finished third.
Fraser-Pryce's victory marks her return to form and sets her up to defend her title at the upcoming World Championships in Budapest next month. Prior to this race, she made her comeback in the 200m at the Jamaican National Championships in Kingston on 9th July, where Shericka Jackson claimed a sprint double.
With her remarkable performance, Fraser-Pryce aims to add to her impressive record and secure an 11th world title. The highly anticipated World Championships women's 100m final is scheduled for 21st August.
