Day 3 of the 2023 EWF European Youth: 2023 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships showcase weightlifting categories

The third day of the 2023 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships kicked off with an electric atmosphere at the Chisinau Arena. The day featured several weightlifting categories, including Men YO 61kg Group B, Men YO 55kg Group A, Men YO 61kg Group A, Women U15 59kg Group A, and Women U15 64kg Group A.
 
In the Men YO 55kg Group A, Aykun Burak from Turkey put on an exceptional performance, winning the gold medal with a total lift of 228kg. Amin Osmanov from Azerbaijan secured the silver medal with a total of 216kg, while Nino Simeonov from Bulgaria took the bronze with a total of 214kg.
 
The excitement continued in the Men YO 61kg Group A, where Grigoryan Zhora from Armenia showed great determination and talent, claiming the gold medal with a total lift of 244kg. The home crowd erupted with support as Badanev Ion from Moldova won the silver medal with a total of 241kg, narrowly missing the top spot. Luka Lomashvili from Georgia took the bronze medal with a total of 239kg.
 
Carja Enklieda from Albania stood out in the Women U15 59kg Group, securing the gold medal with a total lift of 184kg. Freya Koskela from Sweden won the silver medal with a total of 165kg, while Chiara Reljac from Croatia earned the bronze with a total of 161kg.
 
The day concluded with the Women U15 64kg category, where Burda Iga from Poland claimed the gold medal with a total lift of 172kg. Oleksandra Chmukh from Ukraine took the silver medal with a total of 167kg, and Andrada Galvao Pereira from Belgium secured the bronze with a total of 160kg.
 
As Day 3 came to an end, the competition grew more intense, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming events of the 2023 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships. Congratulations to all the medalists, with special recognition for the home lifter Badanev Ion and Carja Enklieda for their outstanding performances.
