2023 EWF Youth and U15 Day 4: Seryozha, Turin wins gold, silver, bronze

Day 4 of the 2023 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships took place at the Chisinau Arena, featuring thrilling competitions in various weightlifting categories. Barseghyan Seryozha, Baldji Aleksandr, and Aliyev Turin showcased exceptional performances in the Men YO 67kg B Group, with Seryozha winning the gold medal and Aleksandr and Turin earning the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
 
The medal award ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Sergiu Gurin and Mr. Tudor CASAPU, adding to the event's prestige and recognizing the athletes' achievements.
 
Sahin Yagmur Melek from Turkey secured the gold medal in the Women's YO 40kg category, followed by Julia Walesa from Poland in second place and Yughaber Amroyan from Armenia in third place. Portuguese weightlifter Joana Antues made history by claiming the silver medal in the snatch event of the Women's YO 40kg category, marking Portugal's first medal in EWF events since their return to the IWF and EWF.
 
In the Women's YO 45kg category, Kilic Ezgi from Turkey won the gold medal, followed by Naumova Sofiia from Ukraine with the silver medal and Hawyrlo Lidia with the bronze medal. In the Men's U15 67kg category, Samuele Di Marzio from Italy secured the gold medal, Yurii Klymkovych from Ukraine won the silver medal, and Viktor Kostadinov from Bulgaria claimed the bronze medal.
