2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 9: Tamed People's Elephants welcome league leaders, Lobi Stars

The overrated Enyimba International FC will, for Match Day 9 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), welcome the formidable Lobi Stars FC to Aba.

It may not be the best of times for the Peoples Elephant, which has seen its fortunes nosedive this season, with several uninspiring displays, especially in the rescheduled Match Day 8, where they lost away to Doma United FC. The situation is further complicated as coach Finidi George is away on National duty.

The technical crew of the defending champions, Enyimba International FC, will have to work hard to thwart the winning mentality of league leaders Lobi Stars at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

Midfielder Daniel Daga will be missing for the host after receiving a red card against Doma United, and Chinedu Sunday will hope to secure another maximum point for the away side.
